In only 10 years Zero has grown from a startup in a Santa Cruz garage into an internationally respected brand that is revolutionizing the motorcycle industry.

We have an ever-changing inventory of gently used pre-owned scooters and motorcycles, either from trade-ins or on consignment here at the shop.

Our factory-trained technician will take care of al your scooter and motorcyle needs, from oil changes to tires, from warranty claims to routine scheduled maintenance. We service every brand we sell as well as most other leading brands of bikes and scooters. Our service department is also well-versed in servicing ZERO Electric motorcycles and is proud to be the service headquarters for both the Santa Rosa and Fort Bragg Police Departments.

Please note: Chinese manufactured, internet purchased scooters aren’t designed with longevity in mind, are typically disposable, often with no parts available to even repair the poorly crafted machines, and are best to avoid. We’re happy to help you research all your options, and elated to assist in finding your next bike!

About Us

It was 2002 when Revolution Moto was hatched by a scooter boy and girl – two corporate refugees; one from the music business and the other from the tech world. They happened to share a love of riding and started the business while dating. Visits to the motorcycling centers of Europe, EICMA in Milan, and riding throughout Italy, Spain, and Asia soon followed. And then, Revolution Moto.

Today, Pete Surber runs the place. Trained as an architect, Pete spent 7 years running Vespa San Francisco, a year managing Vespa Brooklyn and Vespa Manhattan, co-founded the PostMods scooter club, and runs the dealership with one key tenet: make each customer’s riding experience the best that it can possibly be. We’re fortunate to have made great friends with many of those who first walked through our welcoming garage doors, just blocks from historic Courthouse Square in downtown Santa Rosa – the heart of the famed Northern California wine region.

RevMoto carries only the finest European motorbikes, ZERO electric motorcycles made right here in Santa Cruz, California, and a wide selection of swag, helmets, gear, and accessories from manufacturers like Arai, Dianese, Nolan, AGV, Motul, Roland Sands, Armani, and more. We expertly service most major brands of motorcycles and scooters and are the North Bay’s only factory authorized service center for Vespa, Piaggio and Genuine scooters, as well as ZERO Motorcycles.

Why would someone choose a larger scooter/motorbike over a traditional motorcycle?

1) Cost of ownership: Vespa/Piaggio scooters cost far less to service/maintain and will often last a lifetime.

2) Insurance: scooters can be insured for way less than motorcycles.

3) Gas Mileage: scooters will typically get between 70-115mpg.

4) Re-sale Value: Vespa/Piaggio scooters tend to hold their value more than many motorcycle brands and vintage models sell for FAR MORE than original retail.

5) Ease of Use: Automatic transmissions, handbrakes, step-through design, super clean burning, quiet, and saddles for two allow for comfort and simplicity.
