Faithfully serving an ever-growing community of riders since 2004, RevMoto is grateful to have received the Bohemian’s “Best of the North Bay” reader’s award (Best Motorcycle/Scooter Shop) for the past 11 years straight.
Pete Surber has served wine country’s scootering community as General Manager of Revolution Moto since his arrival in May 2018, and in March 2019 he became the owner of his very own local Vespa dealership. Nicknaming the shop RevMoto 2.0, Pete shall continue to inspire new and existing scooterists and motorcyclists while providing his personal brand of customer service, knowledgeable support and enthusiastic guidance that customers have come to expect from Revolution Moto in its 15 years in Santa Rosa. Shop dogs Madi and Oliver are here to meet and greet, and look no further than RevMoto’s certified Service Dept. to ensure your bike remains in peak running condition throughout the year.
Our loyal scooterists come from near and far, including the counties of Sonoma, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, Mendocino, Humboldt, and beyond. Weather permitting, we host a monthly group ride on the First Sunday of every month, as well as many special events here at our converted auto garage clubhouse in downtown Santa Rosa. UBCO UTILITY BIKES
New Zealand’s best export since “The Lord of The Rings”, this street legal “all wheel drive” electric is redefining off-road chic. Be the first to test ride these new arrivals this summer!
We have an ever-changing inventory of gently used pre-owned scooters and motorcycles, either from trade-ins or on consignment here at the shop.
Trustin O’Kane recently joined the RevMoto 2.0 team, and as Santa Rosa’s only certified Piaggio/Vespa technician, he’ll be sure to take care of all your scooter’s mechanical needs, from oil changes to tires, from warranty claims to routine scheduled maintenance.
We service every brand we sell.
Please note: WE WON’T WORK ON Chinese manufactured, internet purchased scooters, as they’re rarely designed with longevity in mind, are typically disposable and often have no parts available to even repair the poorly crafted machines— in short, they are best to avoid. We’re happy to help you research all your options, and elated to assist in finding your next bike!
We DELIVER and TRANSPORT All Across NorCal
Pete Surber and his business partners Anya Chambers and Rob Shaddock purchased this adorable little scooter shop in April 2019. Trained as an architect, Pete first fell in love with scootering while studying abroad in Rome. Pete spent 7 years (2010-2017) managing Vespa San Francisco and co-founded the SF-based PostMods Scooter Squad in 2015, did a year-long stint managing Vespa Brooklyn and Vespa Manhattan, and now runs his very own dealership with one key tenet: make each customer’s riding experience the best that it can possibly be. We’re blessed to have made great friends with many of those who first walked through our welcoming garage doors, just blocks from historic Courthouse Square in downtown Santa Rosa – the heart of the famed Northern California wine region.
RevMoto carries the finest Italian-manufactured scooters, scooters for every sized rider, and a wide selection of swag, helmets, gear, and accessories. We expertly service most major brands of motorcycles , vintage and modern scooters and are the North Bay’s only factory authorized service center for Vespa, Piaggio and Genuine scooters, as well as UBCO Utility Bikes.
Why would someone choose a larger scooter/motorbike over a traditional motorcycle?
1) Cost of ownership: Vespa/Piaggio scooters cost far less to service/maintain and will often last a lifetime.
2) Insurance: scooters can be insured for way less than motorcycles.
3) Gas Mileage: scooters will typically get between 70-115mpg.
4) Re-sale Value: Vespa/Piaggio scooters tend to hold their value more than many motorcycle brands and vintage models sell for FAR MORE than original retail.
5) Ease of Use: Automatic transmissions, handbrakes, step-through design, super clean burning, quiet, and saddles for two allow for comfort and simplicity.
